At Have a Heart we do more than just advocate the adoption of sheltered pets. With your support, we have designed different programs such as “Paws in the Park” an adoption event where shelters and rescue groups come together with prospective owners and our Street Sign program that drives traffic to local shelters. We honor our veterans, the brave men and women that served in our U.S. Armed Forces, by providing compassionate and loving foster care and adoption for their pets in need of forever homes. We lend a helping hand to our country’s combat veterans with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), the invisible wounds of war, to obtain service dogs for their emotional well-being.
